The conference on Constitution and Unity of India is being organized on 24th and 25th of February 2024 in Bengaluru.  The Conference envisions to bring together academicians, policy makers, social activists and domain experts to engage in discourses spreading across various themes that calls for immediate attention. It aims to critically reflect upon crucial dimensions relating to ‘Constitutionalism’, ‘Social-justice’, ‘Inclusiveness’ and ‘Identity’ and looks forward to conceive innovative ideas that could alleviate the current challenges.

There is a need to collaborate and work towards remedying inequalities and societal disruptions to safeguard the spirit of our Constitution and the Preamble.

In this regard, the Conference seeks to facilitate an intellectual exchange to encourage a transformative spirit by rethinking about the current socio-economic, political and cultural paradigm and spearheading constructive discourses that could redress these structural problems.

The Government of Karnataka, has roped in two premier institutions – Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) and National Law School of India University (NLSIU) to conduct this conference.
